hanging's too good for some
Well folks, to paraphrase Ice Cube, "Today was a good day". Pauline Hanson, fish and chip owner/racist/politician/fashion victim has been locked up for 3 years for defrauding her party and Australian tax payers out of a goodly sum.
According to the ABC website, "the vast majority of radio talkback callers around the country are outraged at the Hanson verdict". That's because those not outraged are out in the streets partying, and don't give a damn about the simple-minded radio talkback folk. And nor should they.
The verdict is a victory for democracy, a big two fingers to those who would fraudulently register political parties in order to line their own campaigns with taxpayers money.
Get over it, Australia. Pauline Hanson is a criminal, the court said so. She has been convicted beyond reasonable doubt, and that's good enough for me.
Throw away the key and move on. Spare me the bleeding heart liberalism. If you tamper with the democratic process then do the time and don't come back.
