Geez, has it really been two weeks since I last posted? Tempus damn fugit indeed. I'd better bring y'all up to speed. Done a bit of travelling, was in Perth two weekends ago for the hilariously Brechtian "You Only Rent Twice", the sequel to"The Angriest Video Store Clert in the World". Written by Grant Watson, a guy who loves his movies, it wasn't quite as good as the first (ut then sequels almost never are) but it was still a damn fine night out.

Last weekend the wonderful Liz and I went down to Manjimup to catch up with Anita and Andrew, which was good fun. Played my first backyard cricket for a while, and while my batting was kinda shabby I bowled okay. My shoulders hurt for a couple of days afterwards, though.

Came home to find my neighbour with a cute kitten, asking me if it was mine. The poor thing had been wandering the street for a few days pestering a few people. So I took the poor animal in and fed it, and a week later she's still here, sleeping on my lap while I type after being persuaded not to sleep on the mouse pad. I'm still not sure about the whole arrangement, hence the kitten doesn't have a name yet, but I suspect that if she's willing to hang around I'm willing to feed her. Beyond that, time will tell.

Went down to Katanning this weekend, catching up with Liz's friend Kate who's a teacher down there. Hung out and watched DVDs and videos, including a Bugs Bunny special, Drop the Dead Donkey (The Writers' Choice), Bad Eggs, El Mariachi and a medley of Mr Reliable and Desparado (Mr Reliable was starting on the teevee while we were changing videos, so watched it for a while; the rented copy of Desparado played fine for about an hour before going cactus, so turned back to catch the last 30 minutes of Mr Reliable: the two seemed somehow appropriate to be mixed like that).

So that's where I am. I'm skipping over the work yet to be done to get TiconderogaOnline launched in a week, the uni work I've done (though I did use it as an excuse to watch Citizen Kane and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly again) and the busy time I've had at work.
