i wanna be a star
Saw Liz in her play last week, it was great. The theatre in Narrogin is a very intimate affair - Sat in the front row and could almost put my feet up on the stage. Was handed a glass of port as I walked in the door - very civilised. Plays were great too. Of course Liz was the star.

i'm waiting for the day
Feeling a bit smug right now. I'm miles behind on reviews for Issue #2 of TiconderogaOnline, and have a bunch of work backed up on the Narrogin Ag Show, but tonight I managed to read some slush and clear a bit of a backlog of submissions that were waiting to be read. Feels good to have got some work done in that direction. Spent Tuesday night working on the Ag Show and moving furniture around,my office is now where the dining room used to be and I have half an attempt at a lounge again.

I've cycled through that many CDs of late that I couldn't keep my "What I'm listening to" list up to date. Present rotation: Pet Sounds - The Beach Boys, Marquee Moon - Television, The Smiths (self-titled), Stereo - Paul Westerberg, In A Doghouse - Throwing Muses.

Recent pics have included:
London Calling - The Clash, Of Skins & Hearts - The Church, Elastica, The Best of The Divine Comedy, Stray - Aztec Camera, Get Ready - New Order, Incesticide - Nirvana, Bloodflowers - The Cure, Become What You Are - Juliana Hatfield Three, Dead Can Dance, Titanic Days - Kirsty MacColl...

I've been throwing contrasting CDs at each other and seeing what results as my 5 disc player shuffles them up.

they said there's too much caffeine in your bloodstream
Home again. For all the travel, it is good to be back, though I wish I could be back home and still be hanging out with all the friends I've caught up with in the last few weeks.

Sorry I've been so slack at blogging, too much on right now. Am almost through the adverts I'm designing for the Narrogin Show Schedule, only about 2 weeks behind schedule (but the job has turned out to be a lot bigger than everyone originally thought). Once I get that out the way, I have 2 Uni assignments due on the 14th May, and then I get to start work on the Show Schedule proper, all 72 A4 pages of it or thereabouts.

Somewhere in among all this I have 2 stories dying to be written but when?

Hope you're all doing okay.
